Unexpected Mini Hiatus

I know, I know. I said in my May Wrap-Up that I was back to blogging regularly this month but as life is unpredictable it seems that isn’t going to be the case after all.

I’ve been pretty absent on the blogosphere this past week and it had to do with a mixture of changes at work that kept me busy and then constant headache and vision problems that left me avoiding being on the computer for anything but work. I thought it was getting better after not having a headache yesterday only for it to start back up again today.

So, I think it’s time for me to shake off the denial and officially announce that I’m forcing myself to go on a small blogging hiatus, mostly where posting is concerned. Mainly because I’m not letting myself be on the computer for long stretches of time until I can do so without triggering a headache and it takes me hours to write posts a lot of time.

But I will still be around replying to comments and blog hopping. I’m going to be slowly catching up on all of the comments and posts I missed this past week over the next few days. I just won’t be on as much as I normally am for a little while.

  2. I’m so sorry you keep having headaches and are suffering with your vision. Take all the time you need, you know we will be waiting here for you but your health comes first! I suffer from migraines but once I had a continuous headache for a week which wasn’t what I would class a migraine because I wasn’t crying in the dark of my bedroom haha but one of the things I tried was a forehead stick for headaches. Basically rub it across your forehead and it sort of tingles but it does sometimes help relieve it when tablets just aren’t cutting it.

  3. Headaches are the worst, I get them quite a bit and it sucks so I feel you. Mine are caused by my sinuses so I’m constantly massaging my face… which looks weird, but does tend to relieve pressure. I hope you feel better soon! πŸ™‚

  8. Oh Melissa I’m so sorry you’ve been dealing with all this this past week. ❀ It's never good when work becomes busier than your used to, so I hope things calm down on that front soon for you. Also your headaches sound really bad as well; I get headaches a lot and they always suck so I hope you manage to get rid of yours soon, especially considering they're causing vision problems for you as well. Take the time to rest and read and hopefully things will be back to normal for you soon. πŸ™‚
    It sucks you have to take this hiatus but your health obviously comes first, and we'll all still be here waiting for you when you come back as well, so you probably won't miss much at all! πŸ˜€

  9. I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with horrible headaches and migraines. I get them occasionally but never as much as you’ve described. I really hope things at work settle down and those headaches go away! Take all the time you need! We’ll miss you, but health is much more important πŸ™‚ Please feel better soon ❀
