Thank you to Kourtni @ Kourtni Reads for the tag! If you don’t already follow her then go check out her lovely blog. ❤
The Rules:
- Thank the person who nominated you
- Post a quote for three consecutive days
- Nominate three bloggers each day
And now for my final quote which is going to be from …..*drum roll*….., Fangirl!
This quote is one of my absolute favorites! Personally, I always love a book even more when there’s a ‘happily ever after’ (Not that I don’t enjoy books that don’t, I do.). Despite the quote obviously being about romance I don’t just mean in a romance sense (Although I do love happily ever afters that include some kind of romance haha.). I mean a story that ends resolute where the characters are better off than they were in the beginning. It’s probably why I don’t always enjoy open endings, too much contemplating about what could happen next on my part. [e.g. The Delirium series ending. It was ended so open and I still think about it a lot. And it’s been two+ years since I read those books.]
Today I Tag:
(If you’ve already done this tag you don’t have to do it again. Unless you want to.) 😀
Side Note: I’m going to be taking a tiny blogging break this week since it’s the week before I start school and I want to binge and finish Glass Sword before then. I have a feeling I’m going to want to review it straight after I finish it haha. However, I’ll still be around liking and commenting during reading breaks xD. I hope all of you have a good week! 🙂

I LOVE happily ever after books the most (hands down). I don’t particularly love books that don’t end well. I mean, I read for escapism and happiness and other-worldlyness and I don’t want to escape into a DARK AND DEPRESSING WORLD WHERE EVERYTHING DIES. So anyway, I’m with you on the happy ending 😀 And I LOVE that quote.

Haha I’ve read a few books that didn’t end particularly happy but were resolute in a roundabout way so I enjoyed them but they weren’t dark and depressing so I’m with you on that xD. I definitely prefer happy endings. Especially in series! Series ending books always make me anxious because I want a happy ending so bad 😂.

Exactly! And after everything that can happen in a series. You just want a happy ending for the characters.
